The MTAC, founded in 1897, is one of the most respected professional music teacher associations in the nation. It is an organization of approximately 4,000 members statewide. Fresno County is one of 61 branches of Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC). Chartered in 1927, the Fresno Branch was one of the first in the state. MTAC is a non profit organization; tax deductible donations are graciously accepted.
